I’m meditating, trying to unwind

But there’s too many thoughts going through my mind

Like;

Clowns hiding in the drains gives me the heebie-jeebies

As does most of the stuff on CBeebies

Aggressive seagulls trying to steal a free lunch,

Getting sucker punched or

trapped in a high-rise fire, barbed wire

Being called a liar, failing tests

Growing breasts, or webbed toes

Cutting my nose

Off to spite my face,

losing my place in the Barbers queue

no one know where that’s up to

falling into a coma,

Falling out of a coma,

Falling in and out of a coma,

and all of this is a coma, coma dream

its nearly a Boy George rhyming scheme,

hair not looking pristine

waking up requiring dentures

would I survive the Poseidon adventure?

Keys down a grid, phone down the bog

Romantic advances from an amorous dog

Head trapped in rails, boxing day sales

Accidentally pulling off

All my fingernails

All these things

Going round my mind

Whilst I’m meditating

Trying to unwind

Getting cramp in my toe

Rain down the neck

Dining al fresco

When the menus in Czech,

Holes in the roof, having proof,

Appearing aloof, kicked with a hoof

Is gambling sinning if Wigan are winning?

People unnecessarily grinning,

Bus ride with a cougher

Where’s Jimmy Hoffa?

Cooking in lard, when to use tapenade?

whether or not to include the word ‘shard’

This brain won’t switch off

It’s a terrible curse

What’s it like to lie down

In the back of a hearse?

I try to relax but it’s just getting worse,

See nobody knows all the trouble I find

When I’m meditating

Trying to unwind
