Look, just chill out…

How do you relax?

There is no one way to achieve relaxation. It’s pretty individualistic. I find that reading or writing can do that for me. I think the key is to find something that takes you completely out of the situation and gives your brain a little bit of breathing space. If you are in the middle of a poem about a vicar with road rage or tripping down a memory of drinking absinthe, then you tend to forget about the day to day. The fact that I have written a lot over the past few years and I feel a lot more chilled out in general is a testament to that. So find your space that distracts you from everything that’s going on, if thats hot yoga or fire breathing, it doesn’t really matter. You do you. But don’t let the little things eat you up. We’ll all be dead soon.  May as well chill out about it.
