The start of a new book project

I have an offer for you. For my next book project I would like to take a select group of people along on the ride towards a new novel. The manuscript and basic plot are in place, but it is far from finished. But this is a chance to see the inner workings of a book in progress with excerpts and developments being shared with people who want to get involved at an early stage.

How will it work?

I will share sections of the novel and ask for feedback. You can provide comments, input, likes and dislikes. You will act as the testing ground for the book, way before anyone else gets to see it. I will keep you updated on progress through a newsletter. If it makes it all the way to publication, I will look at some exclusive offers and maybe even some free stuff as a thank you for contributions.

So what is this book idea anyway?

With a working title of ‘Last night on Earth’ this book is a tragi comic jaunt with a sci fi edge, but really it is about the unique relationship between two friends.

Plot synopsis

When Joel unveils a machine capable of breaching reality, Tom does what any best friend would do: he plays along.

But the adventure that begins as a joke soon deepens into something far more urgent. Across collapsing worlds and watchful authorities, the line between performance and truth begins to dissolve — and Tom starts to suspect that the mission isn’t about saving the universe at all.

It’s about something much closer.

It’s simple. I will be sending out the newsletter to people who sign up to the newsletter below. They will get access to these book related posts. For general updates or other articles simply follow the site.

Note that the newsletter will go exclusively to email subscribers.

Any rules, Caveats etc?

As a work in progress there will undoubtedly be errors, typos and losses of direction. I ask that any feedback is constructive. All shared work will be copyrighted by me before release. I would request that it is not added to any other blogs, social media or other sites.
