Technology has helped with the pace of writing for sure. I am not sure if I could go back to typewriters and tippex, even though aesthetically they still hold the edge. Being able to edit and check your work quickly is the biggest advantage.  But as for the procrastination , formulation of plots and ideas etc, that still requires the fallible human input unfortunately!
