The nightmare of overusing words

What is a word you feel that too many people use?
A short funny poem about overusing language

In the overuse of language,

One word gets a reasonable share,

Every single event, with a negative bent

Is described as a living nightmare

Now surely, not every occasion,

Can be categorised in this way,

It’s an overuse of the expression,

More appropriate phrases to say

So whenever a bad thing has happened,

Don’t dramatise, make song and dance,

It isn’t real terror, just misfortune or error

A victim of circumstance
