So today’s prompt is about favourite Olympic sports, remember this is a hurdle of a topic, so it is a marathon, not a sprint. I  am happy to discus the field events, hammer down my favourite, or at least give it a shot. Let’s not forget about the swimming, oh there’s so many, let’s dive right in. Am I a fan of the peleton? Not particularly, people tell me I am wrong but they can get on their bike. We are really sailing through the choices now, but there is no point rowing about it. We could put tennis on the table, or badminton but we could be up the Greek without a paddle. There’s not much to choose between the shooting and  the archery, so let’s stay on target and aim for my favourite. I have wrestled with this for too long now and judo I need to make a decision. In the end it has to be the javelin, I thinks it is the epitomy of the Olympic spear it.

I could go on to mention the winter sports but it doesn’t hold a torch to the summer event. And besides, I have a funny feeling that’s just a slippery slope.
